Round 2 of a concept that I love, sometimes things work out how they were supposed to no matter how many test samples you do. There’s something inherently natural about this process – dyeing, winding, warping, weaving, felting. The labor of love, as cheesy as it sounds, is in the patient toiling. Most time, with only the company of my thoughts. At other times, I’m being driven by whatever is on the turntable. At a certain point, the expectation is so high and the outcome should be predictable. That certainly wasn’t the case with this. A definitive lesson on giving in, methinks.
