This construction is the culmination of several years of weaving development, using shades of naturally colored cotton from Vreseis. My concept was to weave a subtle plaid cross across the back and do another with an inverted cross at the bottom hem. To embrace the meaning of what both of those symbols represent to me as an artist. This is the first in the series.
